Washington state will receive $1,891,214 to expand a program that gives new mothers and infants help at home – even before the baby is born.
Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Sylvia Mathews Burwell announced the grant Monday.
The program was established under the Affordable Care Act, and Washington is getting this influx of cash to reach more families.
