Congressman Jim McDermott is launching an effort to preserve Affordable Care Act Medicaid rate increases beyond this year.
The Seattle Democrat drafted an amendment that he wants added to the budget that Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., proposed this week. The amendment would preserve the Medicaid reimbursement rates through 2024.
