More than 146,000 people have purchased plans through Washington’s Health Benefit Exchange, including 8,000 who squeaked in before midnight on the March 31 deadline.
In addition to those who bought plans, another 403,000 people newly enrolled in Medicaid through the online marketplace known as the Healthplanfinder. Another 408,000 Medicaid enrollees re-enrolled using the site.
Altogether, more than 958,000 people successfully used the site to secure health coverage for 2014.
