Seattle’s Pacific Northwest Diabetes Research Institute received a $2 million grant to participate in a national study on RNA – the single-stranded messenger for DNA – found outside of cells.
The National Institutes of Health grant will be spread over five years, with the Seattle research institute (PNDRI) working as one of three collaborating institutions.
