The CEO of Swedish Health Services is leaving to become the head of Piedmont Healthcare in Atlanta.
Kevin Brown has been CEO at Swedish for about a year, taking the position after Swedish and Providence Health & Services formed an affiliation. He replaced former CEO Dr. Rod Hochman, who left the position to head up the Providence Health & Services system.
Brown had been with Swedish since 2000. He will start his new position in May.
