A cancer research consortium led by Swedish Cancer Institute received a $6.6 million grant Tuesday to help more patients obtain cancer treatment and get into clinical trials across a five-state region.
Swedish is the grant’s fiduciary, but is partnered with Providence Portland Medical Center in Oregon and St. Luke’s Mountain States Tumor Institute in Boise, Idaho.
The consortium has 37 clinical care sites in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska and California.
