Boeing announced new deals Friday with UW Medicine and Providence Health & Services/Swedish that are designed to give employees a new health care option and save the company and workers money.
The new “preferred networks” will be available to nonunion employees and some union-represented employees and to retirees. Boeing is one of the largest employers in Washington state, with 81,303 employees here, according to the Boeing website. But the changes may be for non-union Boeing people only.
