Seattle-based Dendreon Corporation publicly announced Monday the resignation of its president and CEO John Johnson.
Company officials said in a release that Johnson was leaving for personal reasons, and will remain the CEO until Aug.15.
Johnson also resigned from his role as chairman of the board, effective June 3. Douglas Watson, Dendreon’s lead independent director, has taken over as board chair.
