After raising $200,000 and spending months zigzagging through Washington state’s fast-evolving cannabis rule book, Pete O’Neil is trying to open three marijuana stores.
The C&C brand name of his outlets, pending locations in Bremerton and Seattle, is a nod to the stoner comedy team of Cheech & Chong. But the stores he plans to open, with hardwood floors and blond cabinets, will look less like a stereotypical toker’s dream than like high-end vitamin shops.
