A Seattle Children’s Hospital physician who made a name for himself after making a discovery linking Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) to hearing issues has received a grant to further pursue his research.
Dr. Daniel Rubens' story is unique because he isn’t a research physician. He was working as an anesthesiologist at Seattle Children's when he made a critical observation and developed a hunch 10 years ago that there could be a link between hearing problems and SIDS.
