Washington state’s legalization of recreational marijuana is expected to be a boon for the state government, raising millions of dollars in tax revenue.
But individual cities won’t be making any profit off of that, which could result in a patchy system across the state, with some areas being more friendly to marijuana businesses and others operating as “dry” cities or counties, said W.
