Some marijuana hopefuls are receiving rejections this week, notifying them that they won’t be able to participate in the state’s lottery for one of 334 retail locations around the state.
A small number of those ganjapreneurs may be able to appeal the Washington State Liquor Control Board’s decision if they had technical problems with their application. Entrepreneurs who were rejected based on the location where they wanted to open a store will also have recourse.
