Washington exchange says it's sorry for mistakes on health insurance rates

The Washington state health exchange is mailing notifications — with its apologies — to 8,000 customers who were told their 2014 health insurance would be less expensive than it really will be. On average, customers will have to pay $100 more per month than they originally thought, said exchange CEO Richard Onizuka, in a statement issued late Tuesday.
