The Washington state Department of Health won’t interfere with an affiliation between Franciscan Health System and Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton.
The state decided the new deal doesn’t require agency review through the certificate of need process, and hospital officials said the partnership should be finalized by the end of the day. Harrison is the seventh hospital in the network of Tacoma-based Franciscan Health System.
