Cardiac Insight, a University of Washington spinoff biotech company, has raised $7 million, according to its latest filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The Seattle company based in the Eastlake district has focused on developing new technology that can detect a common form of irregular heartbeat known as atrial fibrillation, or a-fib.
