The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is proposing a 1.1 percent increase in Medicare payments for hospices in fiscal year 2014, but that won’t offset the 2 percent sequestration cut to Medicare that's already troubling the end-of-life treatment centers.
