Washington’s 16,400 physicians generate 76,000 jobs and $762.6 million in state and local revenue, according to a report from the American Medical Association (AMA).
The report, which was commissioned by the AMA and conducted by IMS Health, also found that doctors indirectly support another 92,000 jobs in this state.
