Scientists at Seattle Children’s Research Institute won $3 million dollar grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for development of a device to help premature infants breathe.
The device, called the Seattle-PAP, is simpler and cheaper than the current breathing devices used on infants around the world.
