UW School of Medicine looks east to expand

The University of Washington School of Medicine is leading an effort to expand and evolve medical education in the Northwest. The goal is to grow the early efforts to expand the medical school in Spokane and adapt the program to train doctors for the new realities in health care. The community in Spokane raised private dollars to temporarily fund the second year of medical education in that part of the state.
