The Seattle Art Museum introduced artist Doug Aitken’s newest installation piece this weekend, bringing an enduring and shifting face to the city’s landmark museum.
Aitkin’s work is called “Mirror.”
The permanent installation is a huge glass-covered screen covering the museum’s corner entrance at First Avenue and Union Street. Museum officials describe the work as a “living kaleidoscope.”
