Swedish Health System has reduced its outpatient charges by an average of 35 percent in an effort to adapt and remain competitive in the new era of health care.
Swedish has been “working pretty hard on reducing our cost and improving our efficiency,” said Ralph Pascualy, chief medical officer at Swedish Medical Group, the system’s unit that employs doctors.
