More than 100,000 people have purchased commercial health insurance through the Washington state Health Benefit Exchange.
It’s an accomplishment that pushes Washington closer to its end-of-2013 goal of having 130,000 people purchase those plans. The exchange didn’t break out how many of those plans were purchased with federal subsidies.
An additional 82,000 people have completed the online enrollment, except for making their first premium payment.
