Tacoma-based MultiCare Health System on Tuesday named William Robertson, a Maryland transplant, as its new president and CEO.
Robertson will start in the new position, replacing retiring CEO Diane Cecchettini, on May 1. Since 2000, Robertson has been the president and CEO of Adventist HealthCare Inc., based in Gaithersburg, Md. Prior to that, he was CEO of Shawnee Mission Medical Center near Kansas City.
