The Seattle-based Hutchinson Institute for Cancer Outcomes Research has hired a new co-director from the Duke Cancer Institute to head up the organization’s cancer prevention efforts.
Better know as HICOR, the institute hired Dr. Gary Lyman, who previously was a professor of medicine and a senior fellow at the Duke Center for Clinical Health Policy Research. Since 2007, Lyman has also been a director at Duke Cancer Institute in Durham, N.C.
