Washington state got a running start on the Affordable Care Act, and a new report from the California-based Kaiser Family Foundation takes a closer look at what that means for uninsured people across the state.
The Evergreen state embraced President Barack Obama’s signature health care legislation, expanding Medicaid to a slightly higher income bracket and getting an early start on building a health exchange that would sell insurance to those who don’t get coverage through an employer.
