The board of trustees governing Valley Medical Center voted unanimously Tuesday night to keep on its CEO, Rich Roodman, with a small cut to his compensation.
The deal extends Roodman’s contract for two years, with the option to renew for one additional year without renegotiating. His new contract, which begins Jan. 1, will pay him a base salary of nearly $770,000. His total compensation, including incentive bonuses, will add up to more than $1 million a year.
He’s losing out on retention payments…
