The Board of Trustees governing Valley Medical Center will decide Tuesday whether the health system’s CEO, Rich Roodman, will keep his hefty paycheck and extend his contract for the next two years.
The Seattle Times reports that Roodman’s contract is set to expire Dec. 31. Under a new proposal, Roodman's compensation would be cut by roughly $300,000 from the previous year, but he still would make more than $1 million a year, plus bonuses.
