For the second year in a row, Seattle is ranked as the most generous online city in a national survey, giving nearly $23 million in online donations in 2012.
Seattle donated more than $38,000 online per 1000 residents in 2012, according to the survey by Blackbaud, a software and research firm that focuses on the nonprofit sector.
Seattle’s online giving increased nearly 36 percent from the $28,000 per 1,000 residents that won the Emerald City the top spot in 2011.
